Privacy policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Arizona Rave Pirates and Rave Pirates (collectively, “Rave Pirates,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) are operated by Nevann LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit RavePirates.com, discover or submit events, contact us about entertainment or marketing services, purchase goods or services if offered, or interact with our authorized social-media features (together, the “Services”).
We are an independent event-discovery and services platform. Unless an event listing clearly says otherwise, we are not the event organizer, venue, or ticket seller.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide: Your name, email address, telephone number, business or event details, messages, service inquiries, event submissions, and any artwork or other files you choose to provide. If you place an order or purchase a service through our store, Shopify and the relevant payment provider may process transaction, billing, and payment information.
Website and device information: Depending on your settings, we and our providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location inferred from network information, referral URLs, pages viewed, site interactions, and cookie or similar-technology identifiers.
Location searches: If you choose “Use my location,” your browser asks for permission to access device location. We use the resulting coordinates to calculate relevant nearby event distances. You can instead use a city, ZIP code, or Phoenix-area fallback without granting GPS access. A ZIP-code search may request an approximate ZIP-area location from an external lookup service. We do not require you to share precise GPS location to use the event directory, and we do not intentionally add a visitor's precise GPS coordinates to our public event records. Browser and third-party provider practices may differ.
Event and organizer information: We obtain event titles, schedules, venues, lineup details, public ticket links, and event imagery from event organizers, public calendars, submissions, or authorized sources. Some of this may include business contact information or names of publicly promoted performers.
Social-media integrations: If an authorized business administrator connects our Meta application, we may receive account/page identifiers, approved publishing permissions, and information necessary to prepare, schedule, or report on posts for those authorized Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. We do not ask visitors to provide their Facebook or Instagram passwords. Ordinary visitors do not need a Meta account to browse our directory.
2. How we use information
- Operate the event directory, apply filters, calculate nearby results, and provide event details and ticket links.
- Process and moderate event submissions, maintain accurate listings, and resolve duplicate or changed events.
- Respond to inquiries and provide DJ, entertainment, marketing, or event-related services.
- Manage permitted purchases, customer service, and related records when commerce features are used.
- Generate and, after the required internal approval, publish promotional posts through authorized business social-media accounts.
- Analyze website performance, maintain security, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Send marketing communications where permitted and in accordance with your preferences and applicable law.
3. Information we make public
Event listings and submitted promotional information approved for publication may appear publicly on our website and associated promotional channels. If you submit event content, do not include personal information that you do not have permission to publish. Public business names, artist names, event times, locations, and organizer-provided images may be displayed to help visitors find events.
4. Service providers, third parties, and external links
We may share information as reasonably needed with companies that help us operate the Services, which can include Shopify (storefront and checkout), Google services (spreadsheets, workflow automation, and analytics where enabled), Meta (authorized Facebook/Instagram publishing and social preview services), hosting and security providers, event and ticketing platforms, and ZIP-code or location-lookup providers. These organizations may process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
When you click an external ticket, RSVP, map, or organizer link, you leave our Services. The destination site's privacy and transaction practices apply. We do not control third-party ticket availability, fees, or payment collection.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising choices
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site functions, analytics, preferences, and advertising where enabled. You can control browser cookies and, when available, use the privacy or cookie choices provided on our site. Depending on applicable law and our active Shopify settings, you may have the right to opt out of certain targeted-advertising or data-sharing activities. We honor applicable privacy choices, including supported browser signals, as required by law. We do not sell personal information for money; some advertising-related disclosures may nonetheless qualify as “sharing” or “sale” under particular privacy laws.
6. Legal bases and retention
Where required by law, our processing is based on your consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and/or legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Services. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, for recordkeeping, and as required or permitted by law. Retention periods depend on the type of record and the reason it is held.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where applicable, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children's privacy
Our site may list events suitable for families, but the Services are not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without the legally required permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Your privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information, or object to or opt out of certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request and may retain information when law permits or requires it.
For requests relating to the Rave Pirates Social Automation Meta app, see our Data Deletion Instructions. To make any privacy request, email bookings@ravepirates.com.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, integrations, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
